The Rivers State Cycling Association in conjunction with the Lifestyle Cycling Club of Port Harcourt held the 8th Edition of Garden City Cycling Championship on Sunday 3rd February, 2013.
Seven(7) states competed in the following categories: Amateur Male, Amateur Female, Veteran 30-40, Veteran 40-50, Veteran 50 & above, Junior Amateur Male, Junior Amateur Female, Most Improved Male and Most Improved Female.
Over 3000 spectators gathered at Aggrey Road and along the cycling route in Port Harcourt, Rivers State to witness the the 8th Garden City Championship.
The Italian Cycling Federation were represented by Barrister Guido Marangoni (Legal Adviser of the Italian Cycling Federation) and Mr. Andrea Tonti (Deputy Coach Italian of the Cycling Federation).
The event was flagged off by the the Deputy Coach of the Italian Cycling Federaton, Mr. Andrea Tonti.
